Day 9

The walk to Forges-Les-Eaux started cold but sunny. The rain started just as we stopped for lunch at a  cafe right on the Avenue Verte. The manager let us in (32) to eat our picnic although we did buy drinks. We arrived in the town about 3 and were greeted by Father Sebastian, who made us tea. Later the parishioners cooked us a 4 course meal. Kevin and I now at our host accommodation, just round the corner, staying with Christina and Giles (plus Oscar and Juliette the dogs). They are currently doing some laundry for us so we can shower. Bliss. Trying to persuade

Kevin to do the blog tonight.

For further pictures and news please check out the Pilgrimage2Paris website. It's getting quite a lot of media attention. I'm speaking to Richard Atkins (Radio Glos) tomorrow at 7.40. We would love to hear from you if you are following the MBC blog or email to rmdurrantenroute@gmail.com. We often read out messages during our daily reflection time. Thank You to those who have already sent.

We hope the Greener Gloucestershire walk went well today. It was advertised on the P2P. website
